Open Orchestra

We welcome all orchestral instruments, and also saxophones and other band instruments.

Programme

10.00am	Arrive and set up
10.15am	Welcome and begin playing
11.30am	Refreshment break
11.45am	Resume playing
1.00pm	Lunch
2.00pm	Resume playing
4.00pm	Refreshment break
4.30pm	Play-through of music worked on
5.00pm	Farewell

Following the break for tea, coffee and cake (approx. 4.30pm)
we will play through some of the music we have worked on. Families and friends will be most welcome to join us for this informal ‘concert’.

Music

We are planning a varied programme, and hope to include Irmelin (Delius), Out There (from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Bohemian Rhapsody, and Pomp and Circumstance (Elgar).

Administration

There is a fee of £12 per person, payable at time of booking, to cover the cost of venue hire and refreshments

Ample parking is available at the school.

No music stands or instruments can be provided, so please come equipped.

Light refreshments will be served at approx. 11.30am and 4.00pm.  Ploughmans lunch (must be ordered and paid for in advance) at 1.00pm.

No smoking or dogs are allowed on the school site.
